High School Students – This Applies to You Too!

Thanks to our lovely Democrats in the State House, House Bill 24-1067 now requires remote participation capacity for precinct caucuses.  The bill is a mess, and is a challenge for all counties, including ours.  Modifications are being discussed in committee, but there is no hope for a change this year.   

As a small county, this unfunded mandate, requiring expensive video conferencing, was impractical. In response, we’re holding all 18 precincts in one location this year.

The benefit? You’ll get to hear directly from your candidates. In the past, many precincts never had candidate visits due to the separation between caucus locations. Now, we come together for fellowship, to meet like-minded conservatives, and discuss issues impacting our county and state. We hope you’ll find this valuable and look forward to seeing you there.
