After over 40 years as a registered Republican and a consistent voter, I have left the Republican party. I believe the Republicans in Congress have today, destroyed the party. They have betrayed their constituents by not taking seriously the allegations of voter fraud/irregularities. I am a fellow Republican from Mesa County and founder of Justice for All, a political committee formed to remove Judge Craig Welling from the bench.


Welling is on the Colorado Court of Appeals and is up for retention this year. Because he is voted on statewide, I could really use your help reaching Republicans in your county.


This egregious case involves a habitual pedophile who was convicted on 19 counts of sex assault, involving 6 children, and was sentenced to 324 years in prison. Welling was one of the three judges who heard the appeal and overturned the conviction because of a trumped-up technicality. The other two judges are Jerry Jones, who isn’t up for retention until 2024, and Dennis Graham who has since retired.

Greetings Voters and Delegates


I am an 8 ½ year veteran of the US Army and the Kansas Army National Guard.


I am a proud member of the American Legion, Johnny Heins Post 30, Wray, Colorado and American Legion Department of Colorado District 3 Commander.


I have two very important reasons to want to make Colorado and the United States an awesome place to live. 1. My family is worth it. 2. You are worth it.


It was President Reagan who coined the phrase “Drain the Swamp”, and my President uses that phrase, but today it is more than a “Swamp”, it is a cesspool, and too many politicians are bobbing for largest Tootsie Rolls.


When Congress and the Senate can vote themselves a massive pay raise at taxpayer expense, while at the same time raising the debt ceiling to a greater level than the American people can sustain, I see a great problem.


I want to see the national budget balanced. In any home, or any business, if you cannot balance your budget, the banker will step in and shut you down. Operating in the red is BAD BUSINESS practices and needs to be stopped. Printing more money just compounds the problem. Robbing Peter to pay Paul does not solve the problem. However, stopping ridiculous spending and demanding a balanced budget makes perfect sense.


If our politicians cannot or will not balance the Annual Budget, there is no way possible to decrease an ever-growing National Deficit.


When Congress and the Senate can separate themselves from the laws that the people are subject to, there is a problem.


When we see career politicians legislate a lucrative retirement and healthcare for themselves while at the same time kicking the taxpayer under the bus at the taxpayer’s expense, then there is a problem.


President Johnson took the lid off Social Security and removed funds from it. Other presidents along with the Congress and the Senate have dipped their into Social Security funds as if it were their personal piggy bank or slush fund. I want to see the lid put back on Social Security with no possibility of stealing from the American citizens that paid into it their whole working life to set aside these funds.


We really need a two-term limit. With more than two terms, a “god” or “king” complex arises in their mentality and they quickly think that the American people serve them. If you don’t think this is so, watch them closely on TV or listen to them on the radio, or better yet, read the Declaration of Independence.


The veterans in our country are not getting treated like the honored heroes that they truly are. There have been countless statements that the VA is broken. It truly is. Let’s get the House and the Senate’s healthcare switched to the VA Healthcare as their ONLY means of healthcare while they are in office. Then and only then will the VA get fixed. The VA should supply top notch care for all our heroes when and where they need it. They put their life, limb, and mental health on the line for our freedom, so let’s take care of them.


The abuse of taxpayer dollars is a very critical item. This needs to be stopped by WE THE PEOPLE, because politicians are not going to do it. If politicians had any intentions of doing this, they would have already done it or at least have some made some sort of attempt to accomplish it.


I believe that the 2nd Amendment should be left alone and applied at face value just as it is written. When the 2nd Amendment is rewritten, tampered with, or disregarded completely, WE THE PEOPLE should, and most likely will, rise again and take a stand.


Concerning our southern border, BUILD THE WALL. Send the illegal aliens back to the country they are from and let them apply for citizenship in the legal way. Our Immigration System is not broken, it just needs to be enforced. The political demand to enforce our immigration laws is what is broken.


Illegal aliens do not have the Constitutional Rights to vote in our elections, they do not have the right to a driver’s license, they do not have the right to our Welfare System, Social Security funds, or our Medicare/Medicaid services. What do politicians not understand about ILLEGAL?


I am not for sale. I will not let lobbyists coerce or pay me to vote in a way that is against my God, my principles, my morals and my values. I will not vote against the citizens of Colorado, the citizens of the United States or the United States Constitution.


I am not a “politician”. I refuse to stoop to the level of what the politicians have become. I will not be one of the dishonest politicians that thrive on lobbyist bribes, corporation grafts, or foreign governments gifts.


I want what is best for our state and our nation. I do not have all the answers, but I can work effectively with others to accomplish what is needed.


I ask for your support in this critical time in our nation’s history. I ask you for the opportunity to go before the citizens of Colorado on the Primary Ballot in this election.


I believe that I have what it takes to fairly represent the citizens of Colorado, defend the Constitution of the United States, defend our nation’s veterans and our nation’s elderly population.


The responsibility is enormous. The cost is great. But you are worth it!


I ask for your support. I want to put WE THE PEOPLE back in power and control of government, because YOU ARE WORTH IT.


I promise that I will do my very best and seek your input to make all decisions the right decision for Colorado and the United States. I cannot make campaign promises, nor can any politician.

I have noticed a most curious aspect of this election cycle. I see no yard posters, no bumpers stickers for either the Republican or Democrat candidate. Now this is not a scientific study, just my casual awareness. In all my years by this point of an election I usually see many yard signs and bumper stickers. I used to be an active precinct committee person but that was a decade ago. I have not heard or seen of anywhere to get a Trump sticker or yard sign. If they are available through the ECR committee if someone would share with me how to get some I would appreciate it. Regardless or what each may think of Mr. Trump, Mr. Trump was the Party nominee and as a Republican I should support that. Thank you.

P.S. Am I wrong in my perception of very low to no visible support stickers and yard signs for both candidates?

I must say that the republicans from our state that walked out of the RNC in Cleveland because they’re a bunch of little cry babies was pathetic and this is just to let you know that my family and myself and anyone I talk to in the future will be turning our backs on the republicans and turning independent for our views are no longer coinciding !!!!!!
